• 【Heat-Tempered Edge & Bo-Hi】 The 1045 high carbon steel blade is hand forged and heat-tempered to reveal a visible wavy temper pattern along the edge. A bo-hi groove is ground into each side to lighten the blade and lend an audible note through the swing, and the edge is finished by experienced smiths.
• 【Tsuba, Habaki & Rayskin Handle】 The sword carries a red-dragon-motif tsuba above the collar, with a habaki seating the blade at its base. The handle is wrapped in black cotton ito over genuine white rayskin (samegawa), set with dragon menuki beneath the wrap and matching fuchi and kashira for a secure two-handed grip.
