• 【1080 Steel & finished Edge】 The single-edge blade is forged from 1080 Carbon Steel and heat tempered to a visible wavy temper pattern, then finished to a working edge suited to dojo practice; a bo-hi groove runs down each side to lighten the blade and lend clean balance.
• 【Guard, Collar & Rayskin Handle】 Fitted with a Musashi tsuba and a fitted habaki collar at the blade's base, the wood handle is wrapped in genuine rayskin (samegawa) under black cotton ito cord, secured over menuki to build up a firm, slip-resistant grip for two-handed use.
• 【Full Tang & Specifications】 The blade runs full tang and is pinned by a traditional bamboo mekugi peg; it sheaths into a black lacquered wood scabbard (saya) fitted with a black sageo cord, and ships with an appraisal document. Blade 28.5 in, handle 14.5 in, overall 42.5 in.
