• 【1095 Clay-Tempered Edge】 The 1095 high-carbon blade is clay-tempered the traditional way for differential hardness, leaving a visible hamon along the edge. finished to a functional edge suited to dojo practice. The blade is forged with a solid full-bodied cross-section for stiffness and presence in the cut.
• 【Dragon Fittings & Rayskin Handle】 An openwork dragon tsuba sits above a fitted habaki blade collar. The wood handle is wrapped over genuine rayskin (samegawa) underlay and black cotton ito, with a menuki tucked under the wrap for a secure, textured two-handed grip.
• 【Full Tang & Black Saya】 The single-piece full tang is held by a bamboo mekugi peg through the handle. The blade seats in a black lacquered wooden saya (scabbard) fitted with a black cotton sageo cord. Approx. 28.5-inch blade, 10.75-inch handle, 41 inches overall.
