- 【1060 Heat-Tempered Blade】The 1060 high-carbon steel blade is differentially heat-tempered, leaving a soft wavy temper line along the edge, then finished to an edge suited to dojo practice. A bo-hi groove runs down each side to lighten the blade and give an audible cut.
- 【Dragon Tsuba & Rayskin Handle】The bronze copper-gilt dragon and mounted-warrior tsuba is paired with a brass habaki. The wood handle is wrapped in genuine rayskin (samegawa) under black cotton ito over menuki, giving a firm two-handed grip.
- 【Full Tang, Lacquered Saya】The full tang blade is secured with bamboo mekugi pegs and rides in a black piano-lacquered wooden saya with a black sageo cord. Blade 28.3 in, handle 10.8 in, overall 42.5 in.
