• 【Clay Tempered, Visible Hamon, Dojo practice Edge】 The blade is differentially clay tempered to reveal a genuine visible hamon temper line and is finished to an edge suited to dojo practice. A bo-hi fuller runs along each side to reduce weight and balance the sword in the hand.
• 【Warrior-and-Fuji Tsuba & Authentic Mounting】 The fittings include a Warrior-and-Fuji tsuba and a fitted habaki collar. A wooden tsuka is wrapped in genuine rayskin (samegawa) beneath a cotton ito wrap, with menuki under the cord, giving a stable two-handed grip.
• 【Full Tang & Brown Lacquered Scabbard】 The full tang is pinned by a removable bamboo mekugi so the katana can be disassembled for routine care. It ships in a brown lacquered wood scabbard with a cotton sageo. Blade 28.5 in, handle 11 in, 41 in overall, and an appraisal document is provided.
