• 【Empire Wheel Wakizashi】 The Empire Wheel Wakizashi is a hand forged, full tang Japanese wakizashi built on a 21-inch blade of Folded 1045 Damascus Steel, balanced for a two-handed grip at 32.5 inches overall.
• 【Folded Damascus Blade】 The blade is forged from folded steel that shows a flowing folded Damascus grain across the blade, then heat-tempered to a soft wavy temper line, then finished to an edge suited to dojo practice. A bo-hi groove is cut down each side of the blade to lighten it and improve its balance in the hand.
• 【Tsuba & Rayskin Handle】 The mounting is led by a black iron Empire Wheel tsuba, a radial spoked wheel with a gold center collar, while the handle is wood over white rayskin (samegawa), wrapped in black cotton ito with gold menuki and a brass habaki.
