- 【Folded Steel & Visible Hamon】 The 1045 blade is clay-tempered and water-quenched for a visible hamon along the differential-hardened temper line. The finished edge is suited to dojo practice, with a bo-hi (fuller groove) each side.
- 【Openwork Tsuba, Habaki & Rayskin Grip】 An openwork empire-wheel (kiku) tsuba sits against a fitted habaki collar. The wood handle is wrapped over genuine rayskin (samegawa) and black cotton ito with a menuki for a secure two-handed hold.
- 【Full Tang & Black Scabbard】 The single-piece full tang is held by two bamboo mekugi pegs. The saya is a plain black lacquered wood scabbard with a sageo cord. Approx. 28.75-inch blade, 10.75-inch handle, 41 inches overall. Supplied with an appraisal document.
