To get the best golfing experience an all Wooden shaft and head should be used. Using modern clubs may damage the ball, the best experience is with wooden clubs. Balls range in size from 40mm to 42mm with a weight range 38–43 grams. they are painted three times as per tradition and due to the feathers the balls float should it happen to find the water. The balls have been used worldwide also some large Hickory Golf events in the USA. If the featherys are damaged it is simple to glue any cuts, sand, and repaint then reuse.
